The Story of Organic Growth in Northern Alberta
Sometimes language is the missing link between a golden opportunity and the people willing to take it.
Take MacKenzie County, for instance.
Alberta’s northernmost region has for the last few years made a name for itself as a hotbed of organic farming. The soil is pristine. The summer days are longer. Cold winters kill off most of the pests. Crops grow heavier and taller than anywhere else in the province.
Yet, this sparsely-populated county lacks enterprising farmers with the will to venture northward.
Recognizing the need for some persuasive marketing, business strategist Cory Keith contacted Curio in October 2020.
At the time, copywriting was not yet in Curio’s stable of services, so to fill in the big blanks, Curio engaged marketing expert Matt Steringa to help craft Curio-branded brochures, pamphlets, and web content celebrating Northern Alberta’s agricultural potential.
This comprehensive marketing toolkit swiftly empowered Keith and Associates to promote the region on both macro and micro levels, and the following year, Matt joined the team full-time in to lead Curio’s marketing efforts.
