Harvest Celebration 2016

Curio recently has been working on some initial drafts of the 2017 Harvest Celebration Materials, and the illustrations from 2016 worked so we’ll we are using them once again! We created a series of botanical inspired illustration in simple pencil drawing style to work into the event creative.

For those of you who are not familiar with Harvest Celebration:

‘The Harvest Celebration was created by the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation to celebrate and inspire support for Alberta’s only dedicated women’s hospital, the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.  It remains the only major fundraising event in Edmonton to support the local food movement, profiling the bounty of local harvest, slow-cooked and savoured with the company of good friends for a great cause.’

We’ve been working with the Lois Hole Hospital for Women since before it opened in April 2010. This client and event become extra relevant to the Curio Studio team as along with the 7,000 babies born each year there, Amanda recently had her baby son at Lois Hole!
